For more information, including additional rules and judging criteria, AND TO SIGN UP YOUR TEAM,

please reach out to Laura Burchfield at [email protected].

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

1. Teams consist of 5 OR LESS people. Everyone is welcome to cheer on their favorite team but nobody wants too many cooks in the kitchen.

2. All team members MUST register online AS WELL as through Laura Burchfield and the attached form.

3. At least 1 of your team members needs to be a current and in good standing member of NACE.

4. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places by our judges.

5. One Tasters Choice Award will be awarded to the team that gets the most votes from participants.

6. Don't forget about our Best Theme prize. Bring your A-game. We love costumes, themes, decor, and any extra special surprises you incorporate.

7. We are feeling super generous and offering the member rate of $45 to everyone that comes out to the chili cook off.

Members, this means you can bring as many guests as you would like for a discounted price.

8. REMEMBER that this is all in good fun and a great way to bring together our industry friends and family!

We are so excited to see what your talent and creativity brings to, yet, another year together!

Meet a Chili Cookoff Judge!

"Urban Mason is my name and I was born in Dallas, TX, where I lived until the age of 11. In 1998 My mom's job transferred her to Gwinnett county where I have remained til present day. I am a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. I did my externship at Country Club of Roswell and remained on staff for 9 years working my way up to Executive Sous Chef. In May 2016, I became the Executive Chef at Atlanta National Golf Club and I still currently hold that title and position. I would say my style of cooking is Upscale Southern Comfort with concentration in Cajun Creole. My mom is from Louisiana, so I do that region extremely well and with me being from Texas, I would also say that chili is an area I’m well versed in and I’ve also won a couple chili competitions myself!"
