Who amongst us has not had the desire to cook, speak or live Italian? The romance! The flavor! The muah!

April’s meeting invites you into the passionate world of Italian Cooking, Eating and Entertaining. These concepts intertwine on a daily basis in Italy and enrich the lives of all who live there. Come learn the Art of Italian Cooking, the Italian Way of Enjoying a Meal and How to Host an Italian-Style Special Event. Damiano DeNicolo, Executive Chef at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center, was born and raised in Apulia, a region of Italy about 120 miles east of Naples. He will guide you through these customary practices and techniques with live product demos, interactive discussion, humor and warmth.


Experience and learn how to create the hospitality of Italy. Your loved ones and your taste buds will thank you. This meeting is sure to end with one word in mind: Bravissimo!     

Our Speaker, Chef Damiano DeNicolo

With over 30 years of experience, Chef Damiano DeNicolo brings his Italian heritage to his culinary creations. As executive chef at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center, he oversees all food operations, hands-on productions, purchasing, training and menu creation and costing.  Collaborating with such a talented team allows Chef Damiano to further hone his craft as he learns new information from his coworkers and fellow leadership.

During his training throughout Italy, Chef Damiano received various accolades for his culinary prowess.  Stateside, he has placed in the International Association of Conference Centers in Chicago, among other culinary competitions. In addition to participating in cooking competitions, Chef Damiano is a member of the International Chef Association.

Our evening menu will feature light cocktail snacks prior to the Cooking Demo. Following the Cooking Demo, we will enjoy the tasty items we have just observed being prepared. Mangia!

Arista Di Maiale, {Roasted Herb-Stuffed Pork Loin} with Roasted Mushrooms.

Arugula Salad with Cherry Tomatoes Brushed with Balsamic Glaze, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Lemon Juice.
