The "Popcork" Experience TM:
Exploring Food and Wine Pairing
This interactive seminar developed by Sharon Charny focuses on food and wine pairing by using a neutrally flavored medium:
Each person will learn how to analyze & taste through (4) different wines, featuring specific grape varietals, along with different flavors of popcorn:
Lemon, salt, sugar and spice!!
As we taste though each wine with each flavor we will discuss what the flavor represents in a menu or recipe, while discovering which flavors enhance the wines (or not!!) and vice-versa.
This seminar opens up the palate to the ways that certain food flavors can completely change the way wine and food taste together.
The result of completing this workshop is a better understanding of food and wine pairing, which in turn allows any caterer or food professional to be more comfortable suggesting wines with food.
